William Lloyd Garrison

For a small amount of time, he associated himself with the American Colonization Society. This was an organization that Garrison believed to want to put an end to slavery. However, this organization was not about ending slavery, but instead just relocating it. They wanted to relocate the slaves to west coast of Africa. Overall, their main goal was to keep the idea  of slavery, but just have it less in the United States.

In 1830, Garrison quickly realized his error by joining such an organization and as he left this organization, he showed severe disapproval of the members that are working hard.
